Did you guys realize the world is going to end in three days? That's not very many days left to get in the rest of my bucket list, especially considering I'm getting surgery tomorrow. Oh well; at least my last few days will be spent in a pain killer-induced haze.
I have to stop at Target today and after I do, Christmas will be DONE. For real. I'd like to pretend I'm done early (HA! a week early!) and super organized with my life but really, it has to be done today because my shopping days before Christmas are over. The rest of the days, I'll be on the couch with my new best friend, Nook HD (part of me wants to call it Snookie but that's just mean).
We're doing our Christmas on Sunday morning. We talked to Punk about Santa Claus and I asked her if it was okay if we didn't do Santa presents this year, and she said that was fine, so every damn thing is wrapped under the tree, except for the stockings. I'll still set those out the night before.
I told all of the family that I don't plan on leaving the house from tomorrow through Christmas day so if they want to see us and do presents, they have to come to me. I knew planning surgery the week before Christmas was a great idea! Ha. Only slightly kidding.
I bought like thirty dollars in popsicles and Push Pops yesterday. I felt like a 10-year-old, and it was awesome.
When I left for work this morning, we had 6 inches of snow and it was still coming down. I got to work and there is barely a soft cover of snow on the roads. We're getting hosed down in south county, guys.
I'm eating a peanut butter Snickers for breakfast. Don't judge me; I'll be eating popsicles and sherbert for the next week.
Have a wonderful Tuesday, and here's hoping the snow melts quickly.
