Not Even Organized Enough For A Title

Just a warning - this post is an ensemble of things that have been on my mind this morning, and it will have no real point. Enjoy.

My friend JaKell started a giveaway blog, and it is AWESOME. I've been entering my fingers off, and guess what? I won something! I won a gift certificate to this lovely shop called Pink Giraffe Boutique (Etsy shop here and blog here). And what did I get with it? These:

Along with a pair of snap clips that match. Wanna know why I went with the Minnie Mouse bows? Because WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!! Punk is at the perfect age where she's still young enough to really experience the magic of it all, but big enough that she can ride the funner rides. I can't even tell you how excited she was when I told her we were going. And then when I told her that we'll probably get to meet Cinderella... It's all she's talked about since then. To be completely honest, I am not a Disneyland fan. It's just not exciting for me - I like the big, make your tummy turn, make you scream, type of rides (Six Flags, anyone?). But I can't wait to take her! It's going to be awesome.

If any of you Disney veterans out there know of the best hotel to stay at, or things to do in the area besides Disneyland, either leave a comment or e-mail me. We'll be there for four days so I'm trying to plan out the entire time with fun stuff to do.

And for those of you who requested pictures of the cupcakes and whatnot, here are pictures from my cell phone of our Valentine's Day. (Oh, and my camera battery is dead. Like, DEAD dead. Like, won't even take a charge dead. LAME-O)

Punk's heart hair. She LOVED this hairstyle. You can't really see it in the picture, but the pink and red ribbons are braided into the braids.

The cinnamon rolls with pink frosting.

And last, but not least, the cupcakes. Purple frosting is pomegranate frosting, white frosting is cream cheese frosting. Purple cake is pomegranate cake (sort of), white cake is, well, white cake.

Also, my pinky is effed up and it's seriously ridiculous to try to type when your pinky doesn't work. Long story short - I separated my nail from my nail bed and I'm not sure how bad it is but I think the only thing holding my real nail on my finger is the acrylic nail on top of it. It's pretty nasty. Please forgive me for any spelling or capitalization issues, because it's hard to hit the 'a' button and even harder to hit the shift button.

I had a meeting with my wellness coach Thursday, and as it turns out, I've lost five pounds of fat and gained four pounds of muscle. WOOHOO! I ♥ EA Sports Active.

  1. Yummy!

We're going to Disneyland in 2 weeks. Neither one of us have been since we've met each other, so it's been over 7 years!! I am excited.

  2. Man, it'd be so nice to know exactly how much fat I lose, and how much muscle I gain. I know I gain a lot of muscle when I work out 'cuz I can see it...but still it'd be nice if the scale number represented that ya know!

  3. okay I love Disneyland. I have officially been around 10 times. ummm Disneyland hotel is pretty awesome, pricey but fun...i definately recommend eating a few meals at Goofys kitchen (its fun to eat with Disney characters). plan 2 days in Disneyland and 2 days in California Adventure. Jason and I went for 7 days and we still didn't get to do everything that we wanted to do, and most of the time we were running from ride to ride. Always wait in a line while you are waiting for a express pass to come up so you are not just standing around doing nothing. Make sure you go to a few shows, they are their because they are fun and entertaining (me and Jason really really enjoyed some of the shows) Be at the park early to avoid lines and eat at the heat of the day when lines for the rides are really long. Always have a map of the park with you so you are not just wandering around loosing valuable time. I don't recommend small world, or the snow white rides they are never worth the wait. Its all up to you though. I hope you have soo much fun, we are taking the boys in October after pulling season ends and I am sooo excited!

  4. Did she contact you yet?

I send a third e-mail, I have talked to her ALOT over the last few weeks and she usually does not take long to respond, so there must be a reason as to why she hasn't yet. I will keep you posted, thanks for entering and linking my blog :)
